Armchair, daybed, chaise longue or sofa - a diversity of variations characterize range S 5000. James Irvine has reinterpreted a type of sofa that was already a part of the Thonet programme in the 1930s: the archetype of a minimalist sofa with a bent tubular steel base. A variable range resulted through subtle interventions, based on a simple, intelligent design idea: the "modular principle." Up to four identical upholstery elements are placed on the standard base element as armrests or backrests at the owner's discretion. This idea opens up a broad range of uses and large selection of different versions.
A good piece of furniture lives from its versatility. That is why we rely on functional designs that can be used in a variety of application concepts - see for yourself.
