Thonet will be at ORGATEC 2026 in Cologne, and, in keeping with the motto “Thonet defines spaces”, will be showcasing its latest products and developments for contemporary workspaces, communication areas and contract interiors. The House of Thonet, designed by Werner Aisslinger, is an open, modular architectural concept that places the brand and its products centre stage, whilst also providing a space to meet and talk.
At ORGATEC, Thonet will introduce the S 760, a highly customisable chair programme designed by Uwe Sommerlade. Developed specifically for the requirements of event venues, conference facilities and training environments, it offers exceptional versatility and flexibility. Another innovation for large-scale seating concepts is PLENUM, a battery-free and maintenance-free seat numbering solution. The e-paper display can be mounted onto or seamlessly integrated into the backrest of various Thonet chair models.
Also on display will be the new fully upholstered 521 swivel chair by Marco Dessí. With its softly contoured shell and flowing lines, it combines residential comfort with the functional requirements of contemporary workplaces, conference settings and communication spaces.
In addition, the S 243 family by Frank Rettenbacher continues to grow: the stackable chair is now complemented by a version with armrests, as well as a bar stool and a counter-height stool, extending its versatility across a wide range of applications.
