Curtain up – for space, design, and encounter
On October 9, 2025, the Best of Architecture Summit brought together around 600 architects, interior designers, manufacturers, and planners at Munich’s Werksviertel. A day dedicated to innovation, creativity, and dialogue. In this inspiring setting, Thonet took on a special role: the stage was furnished with chairs from the JS. THONET – A personal interpretation by Jil Sander collection – a sophisticated statement of design, attitude, and presence.
A look at the experience on site
The day began with the “Summit Experience City” – featuring showrooms, material presentations, and inspiring encounters. In the afternoon and evening, the official program followed: keynotes, panels, and the awards ceremony – all centered on the question of how we shape the spaces of tomorrow. For the stage, this meant: clean lines, premium materials, and seating that offered not only comfort but also iconic impact.
Thonet in dialogue with architecture
With the stage seating at the Best of Architecture Summit, Thonet became part of an architectural staging – a visual and emotional extension of the event’s design narrative. The choice of the JS. THONET collection brings together design heritage, brand identity, and the atmosphere of the occasion. The stage thus became more than a place of presentation – it became a space of refined design, both visible and tangible.
