SOLARLUX CAMPUS

The headquarter of Solarlux, the company that has specialised in the production of glass folding walls, winter gardens and façade solutions for over 30 years, is located in Melle near Osnabrück in Lower Saxony. They have three hectares of floor space – in addition to the company’s production halls, a 3,000 m² showroom is the heart of the Solarlux Campus: here, clients can view the Solarlux products in typical living situations and get inspired. In the sophisticated showroom, which informs about the diversified possibilities of Solarlux’s product range, terraces and winter gardens are presented along with folding glass walls for the living and contract segments.

 For the various living worlds, Thonet provides a broad range of furniture – from classic tubular steel chairs and numerous side tables and lamps to contemporary lounge and outdoor furniture. The living rooms were furnished, among others, with the sofas and armchairs of bentwood range 2000, the striking wing chair 808 and the lounge chairs S 35 and S 533 R made of tubular steel. In the dining room, the large table S 1070 invites visitors to sit down for a while in harmonious unity with the upholstered cantilever chairs S 32 PV. Thonet lamps (LUM) and side tables (B 20, B 97) and the compact desk S 1200 were integrated in the design concept in various places. The “Thonet All Seasons” collection that is weather-proof and ideal for outdoor use but also suitable for winter gardens and roofed areas plays an important role in the showroom in different versions. Summed up, over 20 different Thonet products are included in the exhibition in the Solarlux Campus.
