The side tables 1808 and 1809 complete the successful lounge range 808. For designers Claudia Kleine and Jörg Kürschner the idea of family stood in the foreground. Thanks to the lounge chairs 808 and 809, as well as the complementary side tables, numerous combinations are possible. The side tables can be used in many different ways – in residential living rooms or the contract segment, in hotel lobbies or modern office and waiting areas. Table 1808 has a round tabletop with a diametre of 90 cm and a height of 40 cm; the smaller version 1809 (Ø 65 cm) is slightly higher (50 cm), which allows for the two tables to be perfectly combined.

Claudia Kleine (born 1974 in Munich) and Jörg Kürschner (born 1969 in Karlsruhe, carpenter and furniture restorer) both graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with degrees in interior design. In 2001, they founded the office Formstelle in Munich, which undertakes design tasks in the fields of product design, interior design and corporate identity. The overarching spatial and substantial contexts play an important role for the design duo. Product design goes hand in hand with comprehensive research and material experiments. Paying special attention to production methods and accompanying products through the entire design process are an essential element of the work. Formstelle develops innovative solutions with a high standard of conceptual, technological and design quality.
