Gasthaus Krone in Weil am Rhein unites hotel and restaurant operations as well as conference rooms beneath one roof. A high standard of design, architecture, and art characterises the ambience of the family-managed company – from the lovingly decorated and, at the same time, minimalist rooms to the elegant restaurant area.
The newly designed conference rooms with generous window fronts are furnished with 18 tables of Thonet’s model S 1195. The S 1195 is a lightweight, foldable table which combines functionality with a clear and reduced design. Thanks to the chrome-plated rectangular tube legs that are positioned at the ends of the tabletops, it offers plenty of legroom. The conference table was conceived in a way that it can be easily and quickly assembled and disassembled and stacked when folded up. For transport, Thonet offers a matching cart with push brackets, and they are used here, as well. Stilobjekt GmbH from Lörrach is responsible for the design concept.
