With the signature collection JS . THONET, German fashion designer Jil Sander ventured into the world of furniture design for the first time last year. Now Jil Sander and Thonet are expanding the jointly developed collection with two new designs: the S 1070 table and the S 411 lounge chair in the SERIOUS and NORDIC design lines. Both designs consistently continue the collection's form, materiality and colour concept.
The collection expansion was presented as a sneak preview at the Neue Werkstätten in Munich during the Munich Design Days. The new models will be available from May at selected specialist retailers as well as through the Thonet website.
