This elegant and gracefully spirited bentwood chair is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
It became world-famous under the name "rocking fauteuil No. 1" and today is part of collections and exhibitions in important museums throughout the world. Its design goes back to the company founder Michael Thonet and his sons. It was first built in 1860 in the Thonet facility in Koritschan/Moravia and was the first rocking chair ever to be made of bentwood.
Version: stained beech in the stains black (TP 29), nut wood bleached (TP 22), dark brown (TP 11), and mahogany (TP 34).

A special piece of furniture: elegant and comfortable, static and dynamic.
Its unique and timeless aesthetics result from the combination of a simple sitting element and the generously curved frame made of chrome-plated tubular steel.
The name "Still-Life" stands for the double function of couch and rocking couch; for this purpose, the couch is taken off the frame and turned by 180°. Relaxation and flexibility are combined with reduced and dynamic lines and make it a functional and representative interior design object.
Version: frame chrome-plated tubular steel, cover made of black synthetic belt webbing.
Dimensions: 62 x 158 x 93 cm (couch) and 62 x 180 x 93 cm (rocking couch).
