Preview: Program S 8000, Design Hadi Teherani
A sculpture in space: the new conference table system S 8000 by architect Hadi Teherani combines a high level of functionality with perfected quality and visual lightness. Like a ribbon, the elegant metal base bracket continues on the surface of the tabletop, where it becomes a functional surface – the central element. Multimedia module, beamer, drink cooler, tray or storage boxes can be integrated into the table. Cables are channeled through the supporting base structure.
Available for delivery by QII 2010.

"The Office Exhibition" in Dubai (February 9 - 11, 2010)
We were represented at this trade fair with a booth for the second time. This year, we clearly had more visitors than last year. Our presentation focused on the conference segment with the new table S 8000 and our program 1800. Interest among visitors and journalists was remarkable, and we received very positive feedback. Hadi Teherani was at our booth on the second trade fair day and personally presented his design.
Program 1800: News
The sideboards and containers of this program have proven their worth in numerous projects. The fact that we can individually consider customer requests and have realized many special solutions is considered to be very positive. We have now added some of them to our program as standard designs: the media sideboard with integrated beamer shaft and extendible screen up to a size of 175 W x 150 H cm, as well as the smaller media sideboard on rollers. Current Reference
The SS Rotterdam sailed the world's seas from 1959 until 2000. With a length of 228 m, a width of 28 m, a height of 41 m and 257 cabins, it was one of the biggest passenger ships of the last century. After comprehensive restoration work, it has returned to Rotterdam and today serves as a hotel and museum. It was officially reopened on February 15, 2010. Thonet chairs of program 480 furnish the restaurant and banquet hall.

Photo Contest 214X214: Results
It was not an easy decision for the jury to make: more than 300 photos from 19 countries needed to be evaluated and put in a sequence. We were fascinated with the diversity and quality of the submissions, and the stories accompanying the photos are all exciting and emotional. For this reason, we have decided to give special prizes to 16 more of the photos in addition to the 20 winners.
