Are you interested in interior design, furniture, and the history of furniture?  Then you have an opportunity to experience this subject live, up-close and personal at Thonet in Frankenberg, Germany.

Thonet is considered a pioneer of industrial design throughout the world. With the invention of bentwood furniture and the principle of modular production, Michael Thonet laid the cornerstone for serial production around 1850. Another milestone was the tubular steel furniture from the 1920s, designs by Bauhaus teachers, which we have been producing ever since. In addition to our classics, our current program range includes many new designs by famous architects and designers.
