Wulf Schneider, was born in Stuttgart in 1943. Hestudied interior decoration, design, exhibition designand construction and industrial assembly at the State Academy of Visual Arts in Stuttgart from 1964 to 1969. After that he gained professional experience at various companies, where he soon moved to managerial positions. He set up his own business in 1976, opening the Büro für Gestaltungskonzeptionen in Stuttgart. Since then, the company has designed and created furniture, ambience environments and interior design projects, for which Wulf Schneider has won countless awards. In 1987, he published "Sinn und Un-Sinn" ("Sense and Non-Sense") on the 12 senses in humans in relation to architecture and design (2nd edition 1996). Between 1991 and 2003, Wulf Schneider held the chair for industrial design at the Fachhochschule Munich, Faculty of Design. He lives and works in Stuttgart.
